PBX Barbers (Khangura Group Pty Ltd) is a premier destination for top-quality grooming services in Ballarat. We specialise in precision haircuts and grooming tailored to each client's individual style and preferences. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Barber/Hairdresser to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role, worked in person at 1/404 Main Rd, Golden Point.

What you'll do

• Consult with clients to understand their preferred hairstyles, grooming requirements and individual preferences.
• Perform haircuts for adults and children, including precision cuts, fades and clipper cuts, using scissors, clippers, trimmers and other professional barbering tools.
• Cut, trim and style hair to clients' requested styles, using both traditional and contemporary barbering techniques.
• Trim, shape and style beards and moustaches using appropriate barbering tools and techniques.
• Provide shaving and facial grooming services, including skin preparation and safe use of razors.
• Shampoo, condition and style clients' hair using suitable hair-care products and professional styling equipment.
• Apply hair and beard colouring, tinting and other colour treatments.
• Clean, sanitise and maintain barbering tools, equipment and workstations in line with hygiene and safety requirements.
• Advise clients on suitable hairstyles, grooming techniques and hair-care products based on their individual needs.

About you

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience as a Barber/Hairdresser.
• Experience with the latest hairstyles and beard trimming, such as fades and beard design.
• Experience in shave, beard and moustache styling.
• The ability to handle different client requirements and advise on hair care.
• Sound oral communication and customer service skills.
